On September 18, 2023, the Government issued Decree No. 70/2023/ND-CP (“Decree 70”) to amend some of the provisions of Decree No. 152/2020/ND-CP (“Decree 152”) on foreign workers working in Vietnam, and recruitment and management of Vietnamese workers working for foreign employers in Vietnam. Decree 70 has come into force as from September 18, 2023. Some notable amendments are discussed in this article.
