APPROVAL OF THE LONG-AWAITED POWER DEVELOPMENT PLAN VIII
After three years of drafting and adjustment, on May 15, 2023, Prime Minister issued Decision No. 500/QD-TTg approving the National Electricity Development Plan for 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, known more commonly as the Power Development Plan 8 (PDP8).
NEW GUIDELINES FOR LAW ON LAND 2013
On April 03, 2023, Decree No. 10/2023/ND-CP (“Decree 10”) was promulgated by the Vietnamese Government, amending and supplementing some articles of decrees guiding the implementation of the Law on Land. Decree 10, taking effect from May 20, 2023, is expected to address certain difficulties and obstacles for localities, people, and businesses. Specifically, the following changes have been made:
AMENDMENT ON THE PRINCIPLE OF SELECTING INVESTORS IN SOCIAL HOUSING CONSTRUCTION INVESTMENT PROJECTS IN THE FORM OF BIDDING
Circular 03/2023/TT-BXD amends Article 3 Circular 09/2021/TT-BXD guiding the implementation of the contents of Decree 100/2015/ND-CP on development and management of social housing and Decree No. Decree 49/2021/ND-CP amending Decree 100/2015/ND-CP on development and management of social housing, shall be effective from June 15, 2023.
AMENDMENTS ON MANAGEMENT OF MULTI-LEVEL MARKETING BUSINESS
Decree No. 18/2023/ND-CP amending and supplementing a number of conditions for organizations registering for multi-level marketing business specified in Clause 1, Article 7 of Decree No. 40/2018/ND-CP.
GUILDLINES ON RELATED PROCEDURES CONCERNING THE PRIVATE PLACEMENT OF CORPORATE BONDS IN DOMESTIC MARKET
To specify Decree No. 153/2020/ND-CP (modified by Decree No. 65/2022/ND-CP), The Ministry of Finance has promulgated Circular No. 30/2023/TT-BTC guiding on registration, depository, exercise of rights, transfer of ownership, payment for transactions and organization of the trading market for privately placed corporate bonds in the domestic market. This Circular takes effect on July 1, 2023. The highlights of this Circular are as below:
